ChargeHives™ are mobile, modular Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) designed for rapid deployment across industrial and commercial power applications. Trailer-mounted and towable, the systems provide silent, high-performance energy storage for construction, remote infrastructure, emergency response, mobile EV charging, and temporary or off-grid power environments.
Yes. ChargeHives™ systems can support multiple simultaneous power loads when deployed with compatible distribution equipment and within the system’s rated power capacity. Typical applications may include temporary site power, lighting, EV charging equipment, tools, infrastructure support systems, and other industrial or commercial loads.
ChargeHives™ systems are designed to support both AC and DC charging methods depending on configuration. Systems may be recharged using compatible three-phase grid power, site electrical infrastructure, or DC charging equipment to support flexible deployment use cases.
Charging time depends on the ChargeHives™ model, available power at the charging location, system configuration, and battery state of charge. For HiveCore, a full recharge can typically take approximately 3–5 hours using high-power AC input commonly found at industrial sites, depots, and yards.
With standard site power, a full recharge may take approximately 5–8 hours, making it well-suited for overnight charging and next-day use. When high-power DC charging infrastructure is available, HiveCore can typically fully recharge in approximately 2–2.5 hours.
ChargeHives™ are built to get back into the field quickly, helping crews minimize downtime and keep power moving from one deployment to the next.
Yes. ChargeHives™ systems are designed with bidirectional power conversion architecture that can allow the system to recharge while continuing to supply power to connected loads. This helps support active deployments, reduce downtime, and keep equipment powered while the system is being recharged.
Charging cost depends on the ChargeHives™ model, local electricity rate, charging method, and how much energy is needed for the deployment. At typical electricity rates of approximately $0.15–$0.25/kWh, a full recharge can cost significantly less than operating a diesel generator for the same use case.
Yes. ChargeHives™ systems are designed to support off-grid and temporary power deployments depending on the system configuration, connected loads, and required runtime.
This makes them useful for job sites, remote infrastructure, emergency response, mobile operations, and locations where grid power is unavailable, limited, or difficult to access.
Yes. ChargeHives™ can integrate with solar or other renewable energy sources when paired with the appropriate power conversion and charging equipment. In a typical setup, solar PV power would be converted through compatible inverters or charging infrastructure and used to recharge the ChargeHives™ battery system.
ChargeHives™ can then store that energy and deliver power when solar production is low, when loads increase, or when power is needed at night. This makes the system useful for hybrid deployments where solar, grid power, and battery storage work together to reduce generator runtime and support temporary or off-grid power needs.
Yes. ChargeHives™ systems are designed with multiple layers of protection, including battery management, system monitoring, thermal management, power conversion controls, and integrated fire protection.
The system continuously monitors key operating conditions such as voltage, temperature, current, and system status to help maintain safe operation within defined limits.
You can request an in-person demo at the Princeton, NJ headquarters, or an RFQ for a specific model by contacting the ChargeHives™ team through phone, email, or our website.
A team member will then review your application, answer technical questions, and help determine which ChargeHives™ system is best suited for your deployment.
